Large consumers and suppliers of electricity (or gas) can buy or sell their own energy on a staggered basis via energy trading platforms. In this way, they can avoid risks or, on the contrary, make the most of market developments. GOPACS cooperates with the energy trading platforms ETPA and EPEX SPOT to make use of the flexbids available there, which help to reduce congestion in the electricity grid.

GOPACS itself is not an energy trading platform.
