What is Flex?
When transporting energy, it is important that electricity supply and demand are well matched, preventing overloading of the electricity grid at peak times.
Flexibility, or flex for short, occurs when energy consumers are willing to shift their demand and/or supply of electricity in time or store it temporarily. For example, by temporarily storing generated energy in a battery.
